The Cultural Resource Management (CRM) team at Knight & Leavitt Associates has been active in archaeology since 1989 in Nevada, California, Arizona, and Utah. Archaeological survey/inventory, construction monitoring, mitigation, and research are conducted by Knight & Leavitt Associates in support of client compliance with historic preservation laws (Section 106) required by federal, state, and local agencies. Knight & Leavitt’s cultural resource team completes projects on time and within budget while adhering to all requirements of federal, state, and local agencies. Our work ethic and history has created positive relationships with federal, state, and local government agencies, including the State Historic Preservation Office, Native American Groups, and most importantly, our clients.

Knight & Leavitt Associates archaeologists have well over 50 years combined experience completing CRM projects in the greater southwest. The company has completed hundreds of cultural resource projects and surveyed over 100,000 acres in the last decade recording hundreds of prehistoric and historic sites.
Knight & Leavitt has extensive experience with all aspects of cultural resource needs including construction monitoring, survey/inventory, and mitigation. Block parcel surveys can include material pits, large parcels for renewable energy sources, communication towers, mining and mine exploration, water/sewage treatment facilities, and any other parcel that is not linear. Linear surveys include powerlines, pipelines, roads and/or road improvements, and over/underpass road improvements, OHV/ATV trail improvements and several different types of linear projects.
