Founded in 1989 and has been thriving ever since, Knight & Leavitt Associates (K&LA) transitioned into an employee-owned firm following the retirement of one of its founders, Dr. Kenneth Knight, in 2023. Specializing in cultural resource management/archaeology, K&LA also offers Geographic Information Services (GIS) and collaborates with biological firms to provide well rounded environmental solutions. Serving engineering companies, private clients, and governmental entities across Nevada and the surrounding states, we pride ourselves on addressing complex challenges with innovative approaches and enduring partnerships.

A Nevada corporation, K&LA operates out of Las Vegas at 3068 East Sunset Road #6 – 7, a facility that serves as the hub for our cultural resource/archaeology monitoring, survey/inventory, mitigation, and other cultural resource/archaeology projects. This office is specifically designed to meet the diverse cultural resource/archaeology needs of our clients while ensuring compliance with agency standards.
